Homeschooling is a growing movement in America. As more parents choose to homeschool, homeschool support groups, co-ops, sports and music programs also grow. Many groups find that they are no longer the small group of moms they were when they started. Their membership has grown and so have their budgets and leadership decisions. Sound familiar?

Perhaps your homeschool organization is growing and you need help. You may be wondering how to manage a larger group or how to establish a budget for the first time. Your group may be considering becoming a formally recognized nonprofit. Do you know what 501c3 means and is your group ready?

HomeschoolCPA is here to help. Here you’ll find helpful articles on the steps to take, answers to your questions and resources to guide you. This assistance comes from someone who has been where you are.

As a homeschooling mother and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) I’m blending my skills, education and experience to help other homeschoolers manage their organizations.

I hope you find the help you need here like Amy D from Columbus, Ohio did:

I am looking into directing our well-established homeschool group next year and, thanks to you, I don't have to reinvent the wheel.  You've got so many helps and hints ready for me to use!  THANK YOU for all your hard work and your support of homeschool organizations. I have added my name to your e-newsletter and I am eagerly seeking your new book at its release!
God bless you,
